Our First Time Home Buyer 101 Workshop is free, online, and can be done at your own pace. This workshop is more than just a speech and slide show presentation with stale cookies and cold coffee. This is an engaging, purpose-driven course that allows you to also earn points as you learn.
This First Time Buyer 101 workshop covers basic topics like understanding your credit score and how to budget to buy a home, with learning
modules, taking you through the process until we close the deal. This First Time Buyer 101 Workshop is dynamic and moves with you as you progress through the material by earning achievement badges, helping you to stay re-assured and encouraged as you migrate through the challenging process of learning AND implementing. When it’s time to apply for a loan, the modules will be there. When it’s time for inspections, the modules are there. You will receive accurate, pertinent information directly related to your process in one easy-to-manage location. Go check out one of our modules here.
This also includes “Elevated Learning” modules. These are extra modules you can go through that will dive deeper into things you have already learned on a broader scale. For example, if you were approved for a VA loan we would include modules explaining the variables that may be involved in buying a home under the VA program. Also, if you were buying a home that included well and septic components, we would include those modules so you would know what to expect during the inspection process and understand what your involvement would be as a new owner of these systems.
You will also have access to a local REALTOR® who will be your personal counselor, encourager and advocate as you move the First Time Home Buyer 101 process of dreaming of owning a home to becoming a homeowner.. They will be available to answer any and all questions you have during this workshop…… and beyond!
One of the many included perks is the ability to continually earn equity points as you learn. This is material that you would normally be spending thankless hours scouring the internet for, with no guarantee of its accuracy. You will gain points while moving through the First Time Buyer 101 Workshop that can later be cashed in towards local amenities, and to major retailers as well.
